Naturally Healthy, Sacred and Cultured

      ON Monday (Oct. 1), PT. Pertamina (Persero) and The Patra Bali Resort & Villas as its subsidiary handed over the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance in the form of two incensemaking machines raw materials for the making of incense to the coached community from Dukuh Kembang hamlet, Kapal, Mengwi, Badung. The product of incense stick is given a brand name “Naturally Healthy, Sacred and Cultured.”

     Attended by Mr. Suwardi, General Manager of The Patra Bali Resort & Villas and Mr. Nindya as representative of Patra Jasa Head Office, the event took place from 10:00 until 13:00. It was filled with provision of education and skills to the coached community in the form of healthy incensemaking procedures with natural ingredients without chemical substance therein.

     According to Suwardi, this kind of activity is regularly carried out every year as a form of care of PT. Pertamina (Persero) and The Patra Bali Resort & Villas distributed through the assistance. In 2017, The Patra Bali Resort & Villas received an award from the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) regarding the CSR BUMN Awards, CSR for Incense Making Naturally Healthy, Sacred and Cultured Award with the best Gold Awards. “We have CSR program in the field of socio-culture, education and health,” said Suwardi after the inauguration.

      The incense stick is made from several natural plants such as sandalwood powder, resin powder, snowbell resin powder in combination with Borneo Kauri powder, devil tree powder, ficus leaf powder, grass leaf powder, cinnamon powder, sintok wood powder, black sticky rice powder and teja wood powder.

     According to Ida Bagus Gede Dalem D. Baskara as the initiator of the making of healthy incense, since 2017 he has begun with the brand name of REG Incense taken from the Scripture of REG Veda describing about the role of fire as the incense in every religious ritual in Bali.

     Born in a simple Brahmin family from Griya Dalem Mas Blahkiuh, the son of the couple Ida Bagus Anom Ranuara and Cokorda Istri Puteri, Baskara said to have experienced a long process with suffering of life to get healing and spiritual guidance from Ida Pedanda Gede Jelantik Putra Temuku from Griya Eha Tampaksiring, Gianyar. Besides, he was a volunteer for healing services and has received education directly from Dr. Gretha Zahar, a chemist with specialization in radical radiation, free radical and biradical since 2015. 􀂙 BTNewspaper/Ariek
