This theme highlighted is in accordance with the real situation and the image of Nusa Dua tourism area at this time. Nowadays, the area of ​​Nusa Dua tourism is a very romantic hideaway to establish affection and supported by wedding chapel facilities as well as honeymoon place so that many young couples come to Nusa Dua to spend the peaceful honeymoon ambience.

Nusa Dua is secure and comfortable, so that it is frequently chosen as the right venue to hold the convention and international events due to the supporting accommodation facilities and a fully integrated security concept. Some international events have been frequently organized here such as the Miss World 2013 and the APEC Conference.

The Nusa Dua area was carefully built with eco-friendly concept and socio-cultural approach so that it created a harmonious atmosphere, both in the matter of natural environment and social and cultural aspect with the surrounding community.

The theme above is elaborated into the events perfectly combining the culture, sport, fun and exhibition. The cultural activities are filled with various performances such as colossal dance performance, Krishna-Arjuna fragmentary show, Kebo Iwa Dance, Balerung performed by the best artists of Bali as well as several artists from foreign countries like India and China.

In collaboration with the Bali International Sport Week, the Nusa Dua Fiesta 2014 will hold 11 branches of sport partaken by the participants and athletes from several countries in the world. The sports to be competed include the woodball, gateball, fun run, lion dance championship, golf, beach soccer, futsal, petanque, extreme sports, tae kwon do and kabaddi. Venue of the sport activities is in Nusa Dua where the implementation coincides with the Nusa Dua Fiesta 2014.

“For music event, we collaborate with the Indonesian Music Expo (IMEX) by presenting the musicians with the Genre World Music from Israel, Mexico and Spain. For national musicians, it will present a legendary musician Sawung Jabo, while musicians from Bali will include Navicula, Balawan, Gus Teja and Bona Alit,” said Ida Bagus Abdhi, Chairman of the Nusa Dua Fiesta Committee.

Meanwhile, for culinary event his party made cooperation with the Indonesian Chef Association (ICA) of Bali Chapter that would host the Bali Culinary Challenge 2014 filled with cooking competition activities by taking advantage of local ingredients of Bali such as Bebek Betutu (steamed duck) and seafood delights featuring the local sea resources such as seaweed, fish, shellfish, etc.

Besides, there would be fun activities such as painting competition for children and Science Film Festival supported by the Goethe Institute. “This event will also be graced with body painting competition, juggling, bonsai exhibition and antique car exhibition as a part of the fun activities,” he said.

He added that the cooperation with the Aseania Sport For All (ASFA) would host the International Lion Dance Championship followed by 12 countries on October 12. The parade of the International Lion Dance will be followed by approximately 40 troupes where each team would consist of 50 dancers. The parade would take the route from the ITDC office to the Peninsula denoting the venue of the Nusa Dua Fiesta 2014.

This year’s exhibitor would include 36 participants. In general, the exhibition would feature the handicrafts from various regions, bonsai plants as well as antique motorcycles.
